Keep Busy at Home

While we are all staying at our homes, it is important to stay healthy and exercise. Here are some fun activities and some tips to stay in shape!

Health:

• Yoga
• Meditation and prayers
• Create a warm up routine to do everyday, video of a Jiu-Jitsu warm up here
• Eat healthy, minimal highly processed food.
• Take a walk or hike, which is both fun and healthy

Activities:

• Plant seeds, in pots or in ground if you have land.
• Write a story
• Bake something delicious

The Missing Guitar Monologue by Yeshe Desrocher

Hey everyone! I have been working on monologue writing lately, and this is what I have come up with so far! Let me know if you like it in the comments.

This is the monologue:

So, I really shouldn’t be telling you this, but okay, I lost this really cool guitar that can conjure food when you strum it. My friend gave it to me a couple of days ago, and she is going to be so mad if I don’t return it safe and sound. I don’t know what to do. Well, I last saw it when I had a sleepover with my soccer team at my house. The only time I wasn’t watching it was when I went to get some games to play. WAIT! That’s it! Sophie said she had to leave early when I came back. How could I not catch that! 

Revised monologue:

So, I really shouldn’t be telling you this, but okay, I lost this really cool guitar that I borrowed from my friend a couple days ago, and she is going to be so mad if I don’t return it soon safe and sound. I don’t know what to do. Well, I last saw it when I had a sleepover with my soccer team at my house. The only time I wasn’t watching it was when I went to get some games to play and conjure a pizza for us to eat. Oh yeah, it also conjures food. Like I strummed a C chord to get the pizza. But that is super top secret, and I have already told you way too much. Anyway, I went to get the pizza and games then WAIT! That’s it! Sophie said she had to leave early when I came back. How could I not catch that!I have to get that guitar back before she strums the one and only E minor chord!

Favorite Season

Performance Canceled

Unfortunately, the performance on March 22nd has to be canceled because of coronavirus and flu. The academy just has to take extra precautions. There will be lots more showcases later in the year though.

Road Trip II

We took another road trip to the town we’re moving to last Wednesday. We stayed in a nice house in the middle of Historic Downtown area. There are a lot of old houses and buildings. We ate at our favorite restaurant and did our normal activities. When we were there, we also received our address and the move-in date is confirmed for the townhouse we will be moving to in May!
