Cheekwood

We had so much fun in Cheekwood a beautiful botanical garden when we were driving through Tennessee. There are many incredible sculptors made by Chihuly! Super cool and fun pumpkin photo booth to take pictures in as well.

We went in the night time too see all the lights in the sculptures lit up, but it’s awesome in the day time too.
We have gone several times now, and it’s very nice getting out and taking a long walk with all the wonderful scenery.
Totally recommend going here if you’re ever passing through Tennessee.

Keep Busy at Home

While we are all staying at our homes, it is important to stay healthy and exercise. Here are some fun activities and some tips to stay in shape!

Health:

• Yoga
• Meditation and prayers
• Create a warm up routine to do everyday, video of a Jiu-Jitsu warm up here
• Eat healthy, minimal highly processed food.
• Take a walk or hike, which is both fun and healthy

Activities:

• Plant seeds, in pots or in ground if you have land.
• Write a story
• Bake something delicious

Road Trip II

We took another road trip to the town we’re moving to last Wednesday. We stayed in a nice house in the middle of Historic Downtown area. There are a lot of old houses and buildings. We ate at our favorite restaurant and did our normal activities. When we were there, we also received our address and the move-in date is confirmed for the townhouse we will be moving to in May!

Guitar Performance

I will be performing another guitar solo on March 22nd at Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy again! The song is called Wildwood Flower. It uses The Carter Family picking technique which is chords and melody at the same time. I will post updates on it and also the video of the performance when it happens!

Purple Martin Gourds

Yay! We woke up this morning to snow outside. Schools are closed, but it is barely any snow compared to Vermont where we lived almost 6 years ago now. It has already melted, but here are some great pics I got this morning 😁
